The time spent to understand this charger is well worth it. More tweakable than most people will need. The only thing I would wish for is a function to save the programs to PC as a backup. The phone app can be programmed and sent to the device, but the program is used only for that session. That is, it does not permanently program the device. Nevertheless, it becomes easy to program the device once you understand it. It's so good, this is the second one I have purchased. Two get more done than one!

I have a 4-port charger but I was having doubt about its charging functions. Yes, it gives me the voltage and the added maH for each battery. But the fully charged battery is not lasting as long as it should. Therefore, I purchased the SkyRC MC3000 charger to understand what was going on. First, I did not see a power switch to turn the unit on or off, no big deal. Second, phone app installed quickly and connected to the charger without having to do any thinking. Now the test, I took 4 fully charged batteries from my first charger and placed them in the MC3000 charger. Lo and behold, the MC3000 charger was adding maH to the batteries. Now, there is a lot of features that this MC3000 charger can do, but for now my conclusion is that the first charger stops charging when battery voltage reaches a certain level and display 100%. Battery maH labels are highly overrated for sales purposes. I have seen a car battery read at 12.5 volts
and not be able to start the engine (cold cranking amps was way to low). Remember, you can have voltage without current, but you cannot have current without voltage. SKYRC MC3000 is an excellent product to have. One note, use your finger to move the spring loaded clip back, drop in the battery and release finger to engage battery. I feel that using the battery to move the clip back puts the clip in a bind. Enjoy.

Love the manual. Just read it... An FAQ response is "No, the fan is not noisy." Two thumbs up there. That said, in the effort to limit the amount of buttons, they've ended up with a complicated machine. No, sorry, it isn't intuitive that if you hold down the enter button too long when in certain menus, all of the current charging you worked to set up is stopped and started again. One, simple start button for each cell would have made the thing SO MUCH more user friendly. If you like following learning curves, this is the charger for you because it actually does do what it's supposed to do quite well when set up properly.
