ISDT continues their line of affordable dual-channel chargers with the K series, which accepts AC or DC input - with a unique connection design to ensure that you can't accidentally connect both inputs at the same time.

The K4 offers 400W of charge power when running on AC power, or up to 600W per channel with a DC power source. Charge at up to 20A per channel, or put the two channels in parallel to increase the output.

The latest version of the scOS offers handy features like an adjustable DC output mode, enabling you to control the output voltage and current up to 150W. There's also a battery destroy feature for safe discharging and disposal of old packs, and even dark mode for the display!

First impression

I just used it 4 times yesterday to cycle some Helicopter batteries. I am used to the features of iCharger 1010 duo and I can only say that I missed Not having a CYCLE option. I have to manually enter Charge or discharge after every task.
I used the app as well but it only has one feature : to stop during / after every task. Maybe they can update it to let us have more options from the app.
Other than that I am pleased with this little fellow and it does its job as expected.

Item arrived in good condition and well packaged. K4 charger is larger in size than I expected. I really like the AC/DC option. I haven't used it extensively, but I did perform a firmware/software update. This device from factory is supposed to support wireless connections IE Bluetooth. It was not discovered by iPhone or PC laptop Bluetooth however, a very clever switching option inside settings allows USB C port to switch between a powered USB charging jack or a USB data port for updating firmware/software. Just leave charge port option OFF and download software from ISDT site, connect a USB A to USB C cable to USB C port and power on the charge then execute the software. Device is auto detected by software which then reports and allows software/firmware update. Note- new software/firmware removes wireless option after update. Unit appears high quality and hopefully trouble free. Great job by Progressive RC as they are both competitively priced and have all applicable connecting cables/accessories.
