If you've ever wanted to add HD FPV to an RC car, boat, plane or anything else without a flight controller, the O3 Armer is exactly what you need!

The DJI O3 video system will not output its full power unless there is an 'armed' signal sent to it, like you'd get from a flight controller. The O3 Armer sends this 'armed' signal after being powered on for ~20 seconds, automatically.

Just plug in your O3 Air Unit with its stock cable, power the O3 Armer from a 2S-4S LiPo and you're set. There is also a JST-XH connector for a 5V fan to keep your O3 cool, and an optional solder pad which accepts a PWM input, allowing you to turn the O3 Air Unit on/off and toggle low/high power mode.

03 Armer

The first 03 Armer I received failed after soldering in the provided 3 pin switch adapter.

A new 03 Armer was sent in short order (great customer service) and it works as advertised. Caution is advised as there are no writer instructions bur a link is provided to a video. In the video you are cautioned not to use lipo higher than 4s and possibly you will need modifications if you over 3s. Also caution is advised if you solder in the 3pin switch adapter. There is no markings to assure you use correct polarity when plugging in your receiver.

With the above cautions, I would recommend this device

Arming board!

Got this for 03 air unit as I fly planes needed a way to get full power as I don't have a flight board like drones do so this works great! I got 04 air unit not sure need this to get full power but needed a way get power to 04 air unit so this works great if anyone doing planes not drones!

Dji 03 Armer !

Just what the Dr. ordered just wish the voltage was right , it does not read true in the googles but that's no biggie !

Awesome O3 air unit armer. I use it without the fan plug as I need 8.5v to cool the air unit plus removing the plug made getting heat shrink on easier. Only dislike is it doesn’t work unless you get the green flashing light. Every other power up is a dud. Not sure why it’s designed this way. But way better than the Arduino board I used previously.
